Habitat for Humanity Vision:
Habitat is about
providing adequate housing for every single person on
earth, building partners between families in need,
communities, and churches, and finding the resources
to provide no interest loans for housing. When
the goals are reached, then as Habitat Founder
Millard Fuller states, there will be "No More
Shacks!"
Our Vision:
We are six high school
students and three adults bicycling across America to
raise money for Habitat for Humanity, living for 44
days without a roof in order to raise one for
others. As we travel from Long Beach Island,
New Jersey to Cannon Beach, Oregon, we will bring
awareness to the needs of families living in
substandard housing and make a difference for four
families, one living in Portland, Oregon and three
residing in Honduras.
